Arsenal is in the market of a new sports director and one of the names of the mix is Andrea Berta, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian left Atlético Madrid in early January after spending more than a decade at the club. His term has seen him rise to be one of the best in his position in the world.
In Atlético, he initially joined as part of the International Scouting Department before raising the technical director and, finally, the sports director in 2017. Now, he is looking for a new challenge, and Arsenal could be his next destination, by Romano.

Last week reports suggested that Arsenal Pla to make a final decision in March. If Berta came to the paper, he would probably join the summer.
During his time in Atlético, Berta played a key role in the club’s success, helping them to secure two league titles, a European League trophy and a UEFA Super Cup.
