2020 Olympic Gold Medal Belinda Bencic and 2017 open US champion Stephen Sloane are joining Petra Kvitova While BNP Paribas opens wild card recipients in women’s main draw in Indian Wells.
Bencic, Switzerland, is in the early stages of her return from maternity leave – she gave birth to her little daughter Bella last April.

Former World No. 4 (currently 58) took home the title in Abu Dhabi earlier this month. Americans Robin Montgomery, Alycia Parks and Bernarda Pera were also given entry into the main draw, as well as the southern locals of California Iva Jovic, a 17-year-old ranked in 162.

An additional wild card WTA Main Carta remains to be given in the coming days.
On the side of the men, American Reilly Opelka Titles of Men’s Men Equal Equation Cards, along with a pair of previous Stanford University players and locals South California Nishash basavareddy AND Tristan Boyer. Basavareddy and Boyer both made their Grand Slam debuts in 2025 Australian Open, with Boyer winning his first match of Round and Basavarddy, who reached the semifinals in Auckland, pushing Novak Djokovic into four groups.
These wild cards will join the recipients previously called Joao Fonsseca. Student Tien was previously given a wild card, but now he has qualified on the basis of his ranking, so there is also a wild men’s card for men to be given.
