Luis Rubiales was found guilty of kissing Jenni Hermoso without consent


Luis Rubiales, former President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, has been found guilty of kissing Jenni Hermoso without consent of the Madrid Supreme Court.

Rubiales has been ordered to pay a fine of more than € 10,000 (£ 8,275) in Hermoso after kissing -on his lips. Spain’s victory over England in the World Cup final of women in 2023But prosecutors were not successful in their candidacy for a prison sentence.

Rubiales, who resigned from his role as RFEF in September 2023 after the assembly pressure, has also been ordered not to pass about 200 meters from Hermoso for a year and refrain from having any contact with the player during the same period of time. The decision can be appealed in the event that Rubiales and his legal team want to do this route.
