Dynamite Dubois makes the second defense of his IBF title, and for Parker it is his first title shot since he lost the WBO belt in a unification against Anthony Joshua in 2018.
Both of these boxers are on a nice finish line. Since being knocked out by Joe Joyce, Parker has now won five fights in a row. His two most recent wins in that line were the largest, where he won a unanimous 12 -round decision against former long ruling WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, and Parker followed it up with a 12 round victory against Zhilei Zhang. (By the way, Zhang will also be part of the Fight Card of the Century, and his opponent will be unbeaten heavyweight contender for Kabayel).
Since being knocked out by Oleksandr Ulsyk, Dubois has won three battles in a row, all within the distance. First he beat Jarrell Miller with the 10th round technical knockout. He then scored an 8th round against Filip Hrgovic, which Dubois obtained the IBF -Tussentage title. Shortly after beating HRGOVIC, Dubois was promoted to IBF champion after USKy evacuated the title. In his most recent match, Dubois won a tremendous victory against former two -time united heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
