Atalanta vs Club Brugge: preview, predictions and alignments

Atalanta has a job to do in the second half of her champions eliminated in the Champions League against Club Brugge.

The DEA seemed to get a 1-1 tie in Bruges last Wednesday after Mario Pasalic annulled the opening of Ferran Jutgla, but a very controversial penalty decision allowed the hosts to claim a 2-1 victory.

With the goals of distance that are no longer considered in this competition, Atalanta requires a healthy victory in Bergamo to advance to the 16 round.

Both teams remain hunting for their respective domestic titles this season, but the couple were held to leave at the weekend. While Atalanta could not break down a decisive caeline point in an endless paralysis, Brugge met late to collect a point on the struggling STVV.

Here is 90 minutes Tuesday guide Champions league Play-off second game.

Ademola Lookman

Atalanta has lost a lot of the African footballer of the year Ademola Lookman, but there is a possibility that the striker will start again at the XI of Gian Piero Gasperini on Tuesday night.

Lookman and Sead Kolasinac re -formed after the paralysis of Saturday.

However, the hosts are again without Gianluca Scamacca, which has been planned for a period apart with a string problem that has just recovered from a tear ACL. Giorgio Scalvini and Odilon Kossounou are also unlikely to present, while the addition of January Daniel Maldini is a doubt.

Atalanta predicted the VS Club Brugge Line (3-4-2-1): Patricio; Djimsiti, Hen, Kolasinac; Bellalanova, de Roon, Ederson, Zappacosta; Lookman, by Ketelaere; Retties.

Ferran Jutgla

Brugge’s position on the Pro Belgian league table meant that Nicky Hayen chose to rest and turn to STVV over the weekend, and we should see a similar starting line on Tuesday night.

Visitors stay healthy on the injury front, with Bjorn Meiler the only remarkable absent.

Christos Tzolis was on the bench at the weekend and was able to return to the Hayen team with Judge at the top and Gustaf Nilsson abandoned. Raphael Onyedinka, who marked the Etihad last month, is also ready to return to the XI.

Club Brugge predicted the VS Atalanta Line (4-2-3-1): Mignolet; Seys, Ordonez, Mechele, by Cuyper; Oyedika, Yashari; Taibi, Vanaken, Tzolis; Judge

The Brugge Club was excellent last week, refusing to succumb to the unique intensity of Atalanta out of possession while the visitors were delayed through an agitated work without the ball.

Brugge has to produce a similar level of performance in Bergamo to have the opportunity to strain, with Atalanta tied to enjoy much of the territory on Tuesday night. However, we have seen that Gasperini’s side comes out when we need a goal a few times in the term this term. The DEA has trapped the blank spaces in home games and closed twice during the league phase.

Maybe Lookman is the spark they need desperately. They are a completely different proposal with the Nigerian superstar that wreaked havoc on the left flank.

Prediction: Atalanta 3-1 Brugge Club
