Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, would not rule out the surprise option of moving Riccardo Calafieri ahead, while Kai Haviertz and Gabriel Jesus are injured.
Speaking at his press conference today, the Spanish tactic addressed the current current inconvenience of his side, and seemed surprisingly optimistic despite the long list of team injuries this season.
Hartz and Jesus will not play again this seasonAlthough it is not so clear if Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will be available again.
When he was told that Calafieri used to play as a striker in his youth, Arteta joked that William Saliba also spoke about the front filling.
However, when asked about Calafieri, in particular it seemed that the Arsenal manager was open to finding “creative” solutions ahead of this difficult period.
Mikel Arteta did not rule out trying Riccardo Calafieri ahead

When asked about Calafieri’s past experience as a striker, Arteta replied, “And Saliba … You didn’t know, eh?”
He added: “All options are welcome. You never know what’s going to happen, so you have to be creative. “”
Calafieri has scored two goals for Arsenal this seasonIncluding an impressive strike since the long range in Manchester City 2-2 before the campaign.
International Italy also advanced well and instinctively ended up in the recent Arsenal victory by 1-0 in Wolves, so it has clearly in its closet.
However, Calafieri has been playing as a center or left for much of his senior career, so it would probably be a huge adjustment to play back in front of him even if he did in his career Youth.
Arsenal still has Leandro Trossard, Ethan Nwaneri and Raheem Sterling as options for their first three.
