Kieran Trippier has decided to stay in Newcastle United for the rest of the season, despite the late interest of the Galatasaray Turkish giants.
The 34 -year -old right had been linked to a possible mid -season departure, as Newcastle considered offers to help manage their salary bill.
With the closed English transfer window, the Turkish Super LIG offered a final opportunity for Trippier to achieve a move, With Galatasaray pressing to strengthen your workforce before the term of February 11.

“I have no doubt that Galatasaray would have talked to him or his representatives to move on, but I would be surprised to leave at this stage.
“From a Newcastle point of view too, why would they want to leave it when they cannot be replaced? The calendar is wrong.”
