Johnny Nelson says it’s clear that Anthony Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn don’t want the Rematch with IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois. They did not make an effort to negotiate the re -broadcast after Joshua knocked out the humiliating fifth round on September 21 last year, and they were more focused on waiting for Tyson Fury to get out of his retirement.
Waiting for anger
Nelson believes that Joshua (28-4, 25 COs) does not want to take the risk of fighting again at Dubois, because if he loses a second time, “he is done” as a fighter. So, AJ avoids dubois like the pest and awaits anger. He says if Joseph Parker Dubois defeated on February 22, AJ will fight against him. Joshua beat Parker in 2018, so he’s safe.
Hearn called Deontay Wilder with Fury as two possibilities. If Fury does not get out of the pension soon, Joshua is likely to face the 39-year-old Wilder. This is another winning one for Joshua.

It is so clear that Hearn and Joshua do not want part of Dubois again, as they would have quickly pulled the trigger on the rematch.
