Depending on where you live, some of you are playing golf often. Those of us less lucky are counting the days until the snow is melted and the season begins.
No matter which group you enter, we asked the boys Stretch For five tips to make your 2025 season the best yet.
As we work through the list, you will see that the tips are interconnected. Instead of being five individual tips, this list is more like a recipe for better golf.
Here are the ingredients.
See a coach

Of course, there will be players who are “self-made” and, despite never taking a lesson in their lives, play a high standard. Those people are few and far away.
For most of us, working with a coach will help us improve our golf games, but it is important to understand that training is not a single, an hour adjustment. Training is a process, but if you do the commitment, you will be able to make some serious changes/improvements.
This comes at a cost, but the best golf often requires some investment. The reality is that you are likely to get a better return of your investment with a training package than a new driver. Sorry, but it’s true.
There is always a cost to the best golf: money, time or, on occasion, lightness.
Set up smart goals

With your new coach, it would be wise to set some goals for the season to work right but make sure they are Smart: Specific measurable. Accessible. Relevant. Time dependent.
An example of a smart goal that can motivate you to get your game at new levels may be to break down 70/80/90/100 before the end of the season (depends on your ability).
You can set as many goals as you like. Maybe some will be short -term and others long -term, but setting them is a good way to bring your game forward and focus your attention.
How will you achieve them?
String

So you have a coach and a few goals. Now is the time to introduce those repetitions!
Stay in the range and work on whatever change that changes you may need to help to incorporate them before going to the course. Going from a lesson and on the course is a disaster recipe.
It is also worth thinking that sometimes things can feel like they get worse before they get better, which is why it is essential to get reps before your Saturday morning.
If you want to maximize the improvements in your game, you should use Performance tracking technology.
Start tracking your statistics

Following your statistics will allow your coach to see the fields of your game that cost you. Your training plan then can fit into your game areas that will give the biggest improvements.
This will make it easier to set smart goals and allow you to monitor your progress towards them easily.
ABOUT Stretch Not only do you get data gained from shots for tee shooting, access game, short game and setting, you also get handicap comparison, which allows you to see how you compare players of a similar level or better.
You can also see how your club’s choice is affecting the marking and using that information, as well as the mystrategy feature, to make better decisions on the course.
Mystrategy is the data -driven strategy builder that allows players to create their own strategy for any of the 36,000 courses designed worldwide. Course guides are a thing of the past with this technology.
Entertainment fact: On average, users of the goal save 4.1 strokes after 30 rounds recorded.
Finally (and one of the most important ingredients in this recipe for better golf), relax.
Relax a little

When things are going wrong, sometimes the harder you try, the worse it becomes.
Although we encourage you to set goals like the 80th fracture, it is important not to focus on your final result when you play. Instead, focus on every stroke and climb on the process you have created with your coach. Those lower results will come.
Last season, we shared an interesting shot statistics showing that, on average, players are 0.13 best strokes in the nine rear compared to the nine front.
Many of you responded, saying the change was the result of two things:
- You were warmed up to that point and you could swing more freely.
- You destroyed your score in nine money and stopped taking care of.
Nr. 2 was the most common answer so far. Maybe there is something in this: Stop taking care so much and just enjoy the game.
Hopefully, these tips will help you make this season better yet. Here’s for the better golf in 2025!
