Cultida Woods, the mother of the 15-time big Tiger Woods champion, died Tuesday morning. She was 81 years old.
Her son announced the news of her transition to social media just before noon, just a week after she watched her latest match of her son TGL in Palm Beach, Fla. The cause of death was not notified.
“With my heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Cultida Woods, passed away early in the morning,” Woods said in a statement divided on social media. “My mother was a force of nature everything her, her soul was just undeniable.
