Former WBA 140-Pond Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz (27-3-1, 18 COs) looked like his old self and defeated the tough Angel Fierro (23-3-2, 18 COs) by a competitive Unanimous decision of 10 round Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Fierro showed an excellent chin today because he was marked enough in this struggle, but he took the best that Cruz could take out. He just continued to walk forward and ended up in search of his own.
Cruz, 26, pushed the whole fight and landed hard shots on the head and body of Fierro. The rounds had a back-and-forth flow to them, with both fighters loading on power shots and had few problems. Cruz’s ability to take punishment has not changed since his fight against Gervonta Davis in 2021.

Pitbull came to Jose ‘Ray’ Rayo ‘Valenzuela on August 3 last year in Los Angeles on a 12 -round decision. He chose not to try to avenge the loss by choosing to refuse the rematch, who did not play well with the fans
This victory holds Pitbull as one of the viable opponents for fighters such as Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia to face in 2026. Both are working on the cards of Turki al-Sheikh in 2025, but they can look in Cruz’s direction next year.
