Things have not been going well for Ruud van Nistelrooy at Leicester City, and Caleb Okoli’s moves in the transfer window will give the Foxes the boost they need to climb the Premier League table.
Leicester are currently two points off safety and while that is an easy target to reach, they have lost their last seven Premier League games (who scored) under Dutch.
He won his first game in charge against West Ham United, then drew his next against Brighton and Hove Albion, but has lost every game since, apart from a 6-2 win over Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup
Ruud van Nistelrooy has not done well at Leicester
Leicester’s next three games are all away, against Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Manchester United, before hosting Arsenal and Brentford.
Then comes West Ham to complete the circle, although they may not even be in position come the game.
Martin Keown has already questioned van Nistelrooy’s positionalthough the The Leicester board seem to be backing their manager in the January transfer market.

This would indicate that the club is willing to trust the judgment of the Dutchman and give him time.
For this purpose, All of Cagliari have claimed Serie A are working on a deal to bring Leicester’s Caleb Okoli to the club.

“Yes, at the moment there has been a negotiation,” his agent, Alessandro Barison, was quoted as saying to the press.
“Let’s see what happens between now and the end of the market.”
If there is any doubt about van Nistelrooy’s continuity at the club, it is impossible to accept him doing any business, coming in or leaving.
That said, with so little time left in the window, the club may have left it too late to bring in someone else, and they will be hoping to keep their heads above water at the end of the season.
