I like it when things are simple.
The ones you see here are the same Titleist T series irons you can buy now, except they are black. With that, I won’t rewrite last year’s story. Just understand that with the Black T Series, you get everything current Title T-Series it also has a fresh coat of paint to offer.
As you probably know, black finishes vary by manufacturer. This time, Titleist is using a stable titanium carbide vapor. It is darker than the black used Previous series T. It’s also smudge-resistant, which is great if you’re worried about fingerprints. The finish is common across all four T Series irons, which is what you want if you plan to mix sets (and you probably do).
Also, Titanium carbide vapor it just sounds nice. I kind of love it.
The stock shafts in the Titleist T-Series Black offering vary by model, but all have a blackened Onyx finish.
- T100: True Temper AMT Tour White Onyx
- T150: Project True Temper X LZ Onyx
- T200: True Temper AMT Black Onyx
- T350: True Temper AMT Red Onyx
If none of the above works for you, feel free to order with any shaft in the Titleist catalog.
All come with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 flat cap, but, again, you’re free to go in a different direction.
