Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott give answers on Liverpool’s future

Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott have responded to questions posed to them about their futures with some interesting answers.

After the Reds’ 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League, both men were quizzed by reporters about their futures.

Meanwhile, Salah, who is out of contract in June and linked with a move to Saudi Arabiahe was a bit shyer than his teammate. After his 50th European goal for the Merseyside club, he was asked if he could score 50 more. He answered: “I’m not sure about that, but I’ll give it my best shot.”

He also said: “I hope it’s not the last. I didn’t focus on the record before the game. It’s something I’m very happy and proud of, especially because we won the game, that’s the most important thing.

“Lille had a very good game plan, they were undefeated for 21 games and they were a tough team. They showed that in the first half and in the second half, so I’ll give them credit, but I’m happy we got the win.”

Liverpool continue to dominate the Champions League

The Reds’ victory over Lille at Anfield strengthened their hold on top spot in the Champions League group stage. It is also his seventh consecutive win in the competition.
