Analyst Makes Big Announcement About Dodgers’ Pitching Staff

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the best teams in Major League Baseball over the past few years.

With two World Series titles in the last five seasons and a title shot in 2024, the Dodgers will look to win their first back-to-back titles in franchise history.

After winning the title last season, the Dodgers entered the offseason and further improved their roster by adding starting pitcher Blake Snell, starting pitcher Rocky Sasaki and relief pitcher Tanner Scott.

MLB analyst Tom Verducci made a big announcement about how good the Dodgers pitching staff will be in 2025.

“It’s the best stuff I’ve ever seen put together from a pitching staff,” Verducci said via MLB Network’s “X.”

Sasaki is the newest addition to the Dodgers, and he joins Shohei Otani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell.

Although Sasaki has yet to throw a pitch in the MLB, he is expected to have electric stuff.

In 2024, Sasaki appeared in 18 games with his overseas team, posting a 10-5 record with a 2.35 ERA and 129 strikeouts in 111.0 innings.

Verducci notes that the Dodgers’ pitching staff in 2025 could break the record for the lowest batting average in MLB history.

Not only is the starting rotation elite, but the bullpen is elite with the addition of closer Scott, who is arguably one of the best closers in the game.

If the Dodgers can stay healthy next season, it’s hard to see them losing in the postseason.
