Third edition SA20South Africa’s biggest franchise cricket league will kick off on January 9 with the defending champions. Sunrisers Eastern Cape they are waiting for their third title in a row.
They will open their campaign against Sunrisers MI Cape Townpromises a strong start to the tournament. Over the next month, South Africa will host some of the biggest names in T20 cricket, culminating in the grand finale on February 8.
A relationship full of stars
SA20 2025 is set to introduce global cricket icons including Liam Livingstone, Dinesh Karthik, Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan. The league’s unique structure, with all six teams facing each other twice in the round-robin stage, ensures plenty of high-stakes action before the top four teams advance to the playoffs.
