Sentry 2025 begins Thursday morning with the opening round at Kapalua Resort’s Plantation Course in Maui, Hawaii. You can find the full Sentry group times for Thursday’s first round at the bottom of this post.
Separate training time for round 1
The Sentry is the first of eight Signature Events in the 2025 PGA Tour season and features the top 60 players in the FedEx Cup rankings from 2024. There will be a glaring void in the field, though: Scottie Scheffler will be absent for the first few weeks of the season thereafter suffering a puncture wound in his palm during the holidays.

Even without the world No. 1, however, the Sentry field has plenty of star power. Two-time major champion Xander Schauffele is sure to be a big draw. Will it continue the positive momentum it showed during the second half of 2024? We’ll find out soon enough. Schauffele will play alongside Wyndham Clark and Ludvig Aberg in Round 1 beginning at 2:33 PM ET.
