Fabrizio Romano has provided a specialty Chelsea transfer news update before January as he has made it clear he expects Cesare Casadei to leave Stamford Bridge.
The Blues signed Casadei as one of a number of young players for the future, but he has failed to make that step into his first team.
Chelsea have adopted what has at times looked like a bit of a spread in the transfer market, and that will mean there can be fewer hits than misses at times.

Casadei doesn’t look like he has a long-term future at Chelsea, so it might be best for everyone involved now if he stays.
according to Romano on YouTubeCasadei is now expected to leave CFC and possibly return to Italy this January.
Cesare Casadei transfer: Chelsea midfielder expected to leave
Speaking about Casadei’s future, Romano said: “Keep an eye on Chelsea because Chelsea departures will be a very important point in the January transfer window.
“Cesare Casadei will leave. Casadei is on the list of Italian clubs, so my expectation is that Casadei will return to Italy.”
He added: “It could be a loan, it could be a permanent transfer with a buy-back clause depending on the terms, but keep an eye on Casadei because Serie A could be the destination.”
Some Chelsea fans will be disappointed that Casadei was unable to do so, but it will be interesting to see if the 21-year-old can revive his career in Italy and perhaps then return to a bigger club.
Chelsea having a buy-back clause for Casadei could be a smart move for a young player with huge potential, who looked like an exciting talent when he first joined Inter Milan a couple of years ago of years
