Baseball Aaron Judge missed in 2024 World Series sells for $43,000

Aaron Judge’s New York Yankees had a terrible showing in the 2024 World Series.

His playoff woes continued as he hit just .184 in the playoffs and had three hits and seven strikeouts in the Fall Classic.

Although he struggled at the plate, his routine fly ball in the decisive Game 5 gave the Yankees a 5-0 lead.

It was the biggest blunder of his postseason and perhaps his career.

To add salt to the wound, B/R Walk-Off shared on X that the ball recently sold at auction for a whopping $43,510.

That’s not as much as Shohei Ohtani’s 50/50 ball, which recently fetched a record $4.39 million, but $43,000 for a dropped fly ball is still pretty expensive.

No word on who the lucky winner is.

With Juan Soto leaving the New York Mets after the season, Judge will likely move back to right field next season and won’t have as much ground to cover, so he won’t have as many opportunities to make huge fly balls like that.

It was a crushing moment in an embarrassing loss, and one Yankees fans will take hard.

Unfortunately, their pain cost one very rich man $43,000.This man will now have the honor of remembering the Judge’s gift every day until the end of time.
