The business side of Major League Baseball can make life difficult for its players at times during the offseason.
Free agents can be left hanging, not knowing if they will have a team to play for next year, especially later in their careers.
That goes for veteran infielder Kevin Pillar, who played 12 seasons in the MLB after making his debut with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2013.
Pilar talked about his future in baseball and whether he will play in 2025 or not.
“I just had some time to think, and I’m still enjoying it. I’m sure I still want to play,” Seung said, via MLB Network.

Pillar had some unfortunate luck in 2024 as he played on two of the worst teams in baseball.
After starting the season with the Chicago White Sox losing 121 games, Pillar finished the year with the Los Angeles Angels losing 99 games.
Pilar had thumb surgery this offseason and says he used the time to reflect after believing 2024 would be his last year before retirement.
Although Pilar said he still wants to play, it will depend on whether the team wants him, and he’s not stressing about it like he used to.
Pillar played in 100 games for the White Sox and Angels in 2024, batting .229 with eight home runs, 45 RBIs and a .667 OPS.
The outfielder will have to wait and see how the season goes to find out if he has a home in the MLB next season.
