Manchester United legend Gary Neville has made it clear that he believes Liverpool will have a run of form at some point, and that Arsenal are not yet out of the Premier League title race.
Speaking to Sky Sports after yesterday’s game, in which Liverpool were eleven points ahead of reigning champions Manchester City by beating them 2-0 at Anfield, Neville said Arne Slot’s side must now be favorites to win the title this season.

However, he also stressed that the title race won’t kick off until the end of the season, so while Liverpool are currently nine points ahead of Arsenal, that gap could quickly close to only seven or five.
Such a thing would be far less daunting for Arsenal, who appear to be starting to hit peak form with Martin Odegaard returning from injury.

Who will win the Premier League this season?
Man City have won the last four titles in a row but yesterday’s defeat at Anfield surely means their hopes of a fifth consecutive league triumph are over.
While you can never rule out Pep Guardiola doing something incredible, it seems too much to expect Liverpool to lose up to four games and this City side to win all of theirs.
Liverpool are the favorites and have players who have been there and done it before, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold all key players in Jurgen Klopp’s side that finished as champions in 2019/ 20.
Arsenal still can’t be written off as they hit their best form in the second half of last season, pushing City on the final day of the season and finishing just two points behind them at the end .
