Arsenal are welcome to do whatever they can to keep William Saliba to seal a transfer outside the club amid links with Real Madrid.
Saliba has been widely reported to be on Real Madrid’s radar in recent times, which is no surprise after his superb form at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal make a big offer for the La Liga star!
Arsenal fans hope Saliba stays as long as possible, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown has said. Football Insider who expects the Gunners to do everything in their power to avoid losing the 23-year-old.
Saliba could certainly be a good signing for an elite club like Real Madrid, but surely he also has every reason to stay and keep faith in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal project.
The north London giants have improved a lot under Arteta and are now surely not far from winning a major trophy.

It’s not ideal that these rumors continue to circulate, but Brown has at least given AFC fans some reason for optimism with his internal analysis.
Arsenal backed to do everything possible to keep William Saliba
“What I would say is that nobody wins anything without a quality defence, and one of Arsenal’s strengths in recent years has been their back four,” Brown told Football Insider.
“Then they got injuries and suspensions and you saw the difference it can make.
“So from what I’ve heard, they won’t let Saliba go under any circumstances.
“He is very much part of Arteta’s plans and one of his most important players.
“They would do everything in their power to keep him, because having to find a replacement for him would set them back two years.”
And he added: “Real Madrid is interested because they have to refresh their team at some point.
“But from Arsenal’s point of view, I don’t think there’s any way they’ll let him go. He’s too important and will be for the foreseeable future.”
