Charlie Cresswell believes his move from Leeds United to Toulouse is a “step up”.
The 22-year-old moved from Elland Road to France at the start of the summer in a deal worth around £4m.
And making a good start to life at his new club, the young defender, who has already featured in two games, has earned praise from local media who believe the youngster is “showing great promise”.
Speaking recently about his decision to leave Leeds, Cresswell said: “It is a step up from the league where I had been playing. I’m adapting and enjoying every minute.
“The difference in terms of atmosphere? People can drink alcohol here, it’s very strong. It’s great.”
Cresswell’s move to Toulouse saw him sign a four-year contract.
