Team India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy disrespected IPL captain Pat Cummins in the ongoing first Test match. Nitish Kumar Reddy hit an outrageous knock against Pat Cummins in the first innings and stunned fans, pundits and commentators.
Reddy made his Test debut after taking his cap from Virat Kohli. He was selected as the fourth pace bowler in an XI playing with only one specialist spinner, Washington Sundar. Reddy was given a chance despite his disappointing performances in the Duleep Trophy and the unofficial Tests against Australia A.
Nitish came to the crease with India struggling at 73/6. He added a 48-run partnership with Rishabh Pant for the seventh wicket in the first innings. The 21-year-old impressed everyone with his impressive stroke play, including some confident reverses against debutant Nathan Lyon.

In the 48th over during India’s first innings, Australian captain Pat Cummins directed a short ball over Nitish Kumar Reddy’s right shoulder. However, Reddy remained calm and showed excellent reflexes. The right-hander hit a skinny uppercut to score six runs.
The right-handed batsman sent the ball over the slip cordon and narrowly escaped Marnus Labuschagne at third man. He was admired by commentators for his amazing sixes. India’s official broadcaster Star Sports shared the clip on X (formerly known as Twitter).
