Chelsea have launched their new Nike third kit for the 2024/25 season, with the Blues set to wear black on some of their travels this year.
The predominantly black design features lighter tones on the jersey, while being accompanied by bright pink and yellow accents and embellishments.
The kit’s most striking details include an upward-facing Nike branding, which will appear on most of the manufacturer’s third shirts this season, and a minimalist shield design consisting of just the lion and staff of the main logo.
Chelsea opted not to unveil the kit in the traditional way, instead showing it shortly before the women’s team’s pre-season friendly against Arsenal in the US.
The men’s team has started the Premier League campaign no front shirt sponsor. However, the top used in their social media ad featured Infinite Athlete across the torso.
Infinite Athlete became Chelsea’s sponsor just after the start of the 2023/24 season on a one-year deal, believed to be worth £40m, which ran until the men’s pre-season of this campaign .
Conditions have not been met for Infinite Athlete to continue sponsoring Chelsea shirts and reports have stated that they are not expected to do so.
Chelsea’s kits on sale for the 2024/25 season currently do not feature a main sponsor, as was the case last term when they started the campaign without a partner. The Blues, however, still have a shirt-sleeve sponsor: Fever, an entertainment platform.
