Hardik Pandya stuns David Miller with a death ball
Hardik Pandya was brought back to bowl in the 15th over of the innings as the Proteas batsmen came out all guns blazing.
On the first ball, Hardik stunned David Miller with a brutal delivery that swung the momentum in India’s favour. The pacer jumped just short of a length Miller tried to slow down but missed it completely.
David Miller was hit directly in the box and immediately fell to his knees. Hardik didn’t bother to check the batter and went back to start the run. There was also a slight lull in the match as the batsman resumed batting after a short break.

Batsman Miller definitely changed his focus as in the same 5th ball he was caught by Axar Patel near the boundary ropes.
The explosive batter returned to the hut after scoring 18 runs off 18 balls. His innings consisted of one four and one six. Talking about Hardik Pandya, he bowled all his four overs in the match and conceded 50 runs while taking only one wicket.
Earlier, India posted a huge score of 219/6 on the board, riding on a century from Tilak Varma and a fifty from Abhishek Sharma under pressure.
The Indian bowler performed well but could not help the side to victory in the previous match
India’s bowlers gave South Africa a tough time at the crease, defending a modest target of 125 runs.
Arshdeep Singh made an early breakthrough by dismissing Ryan Rickelton. However, Varun Chakraborty was the star of the show, performing 4 over wonders and claiming five crucial wickets for just 17 runs.
His clever use of variations kept South Africa’s top-order guessing. Aiden Markram, Reeza Hendricks and Marco Jansen fell victim to Varu’s well-disguised mistakes to leave South Africa reeling at 66/6 in the 12th over.
Ravi Bishnoi bowled accurately and took the wicket of Andile Simela. The leg-spinner scored a total of 21 runs in 4 overs.
Hardik Pandya and Avesh Khan, though unable to add to their wicket tally, provided decent support by keeping their lines tight. However, India’s misfortune is that even though they bowled, they could not take full advantage as Tristan Stubbs along with Gerald Coetzee led the Proteas to victory in the 19th over.
