India National Cricket Team pacer Muhammad Shami He will not take part in Bengal’s next game against Karnataka. According to reports in IANS, it is learned that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) does not want to move the speed step.
Reports claimed that Mohammad Shami will play against Madhya Pradesh in Ranji Trophy 2024-25. It was earlier reported that the fast bowler will play two matches in the domestic circuit before leaving for the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which he has not participated in so far.
Shami has not been in the Bengal squad since November 6 against Karnataka in Bengaluru. While they have named the unchanged players, there are high chances of the pacer playing against Madhya Pradesh which is scheduled to start on November 13 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

A source close to the fast bowler confirmed the development. He also said that Shami wants to make his competitive cricket comeback with speed and ease. Speaking to IANS, he explained:
“Shami will not play against Karnataka in the Bengal game and is likely to play in the match against Madhya Pradesh. Information received from the BCCI Center of Excellence was that he would not be in a hurry to move. There were also suggestions that Shami would like to make a comeback to competitive cricket at his own pace and ease. “
