29-year-old Bangladesh National Cricket Team wicketkeeper Litton Das made sure he got the perfect revenge for his skid. Pakistan National Cricket Team The teams star Babar Azam in the first Test of the two-match series.
Najmul Hossain Shanto & Co. led by Shan Masood. The first test of the series between the two is currently underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and three days have already passed.
Batting dominated the three-day game and run-scoring came very easily as the scorers – both pacers and spinners – struggled to pick wickets with no help from the surface.
An incident involving Babar Azam and Litton Das during a tense collision between the bat and the ball grabbed the limelight on Day 3 of the first Test. On Friday, August 23, Das batted brilliantly as he tried to set up the innings with the aim of reducing Pakistan’s lead.
Watching the Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman play well, Pakistan’s former captain Babar Azam decided to rub him and get under his skin to distract him. Babar was seen having some words with Das before returning to the game.
However, Litton Das did not take it lightly and he let his bat do the talking and take revenge. Star speedster Naseem Shah came to bowl after the incident and Litton Das took out his anger on the young pacer.
When he decided to attack Nasim in 89, Babar’s sleigh attacked Das. He came down the track and hit a four over Nasim’s head before hitting four more in front of the square.
His superior third delivery was a dot ball, but Das continued his onslaught and smashed a huge six off the side of the stadium in the very next ball. Litton Das followed it up with four back fours before playing dot to take it for 18 runs.

At the end of the 3rd day’s play, Bangladesh National Cricket Team were 316/5, trailing by 132 runs. Looking at the current situation, it looks like the match is headed for a draw, which will be a huge blow for Pakistan as they were hoping to get the upper hand in the home Tests to make a strong case for the WTC finals.
Speaking after the third day’s play, Pakistan coach Azhar Mahmood did not seem happy with the pitch preparation for the Rawalpindi Test as he said they hoped to see more pace and bounce, which was nowhere to be seen.
“We were hoping to get some bounce and pace on the pitch for the Rawalpindi Test, but unfortunately that didn’t happen,” said assistant coach Azhar Mahmood.
He explained the reason behind Pakistan’s all-out attack against Bangladesh, saying they took the decision keeping in mind the upcoming series against England. He said:
“Pakistan will play a Test series against England in the near future and keeping in mind its future planning, Pakistan has selected four fast bowlers for the Rawalpindi Test against Bangladesh.”
