West Indies play South Africa on 11

Allen also missed the T20 World Cup and was recalled to the squad. He can play the all-rounder and be one of the three spinners in the playing XI.

Akeal Hosein

Hosein is a specialist spinner in the XI. He played in the last T20 World Cup but failed to show his potential in the tournament.

Shamar Yusif

Joseph could be one of the two pacers in the side. He made his T2I debut when South Africa played West Indies in May this year. He scored three goals in three matches.

Obed McCoy

McCoy will be the second pacer in the XI. He is a left-arm pacer with many variations and is primarily used at the death in both national and franchise T20 cricket.

Gudakesh Movement

Gudakesh Motie completes the West Indies line-up for the first T20I. He is the fourth and third left-arm spinner in this XI. Motie has so far taken 21 wickets from 15 T20I matches.
