It seems appropriate to call this stop for a week in Mexico “Bridge”. Ameca Bridge is the longest bridge of suspension of golf carts in the world, and it connects this week, Vidanta Vallarta, with the Nayar Golf Course in the Nueva Vallarta area, transporting players between courses, above Ameca River. This week’s open -open Mexico also acts as a bridge between the western coast shaking, after just finishing with the Invitational Genesis, and Florida Swing, starting next week with Classic at Palm Beach Gardens.
One can argue this week’s tour also acts as a bridge between perceived and money perceived in tours and the most popular play stars. The stars were out of full force at last week’s signature event. This week’s field is a bag mixed with rising stars, traveler tournaments, raising PD tournaments and graduates of Korn Ferry Tour.
It will not necessarily illuminate a marquee like last week’s field, but there are products of a large competition, it is an excellent study of who can be the other wave of contenders and, for betting purposes, accelerates the likelihood that it can appear a real real time victor.
Vidanta Vallarta is a great song. The Par-71 Greg Norman design has wide roads, large greens, very slightly approximate and extends to nearly 7,500 meters. This will be the fourth time we have seen this event in PGA Tour and while some of the fastest, accurate players have found their way to the top of the manager’s table, the tournament has mainly taken care of the bombers, as evidenced by the winners Last Jon Rahm, Tony Finau and defense champion Jake KNAPP.
The golf course is Bar-Murr Pasalum, a popular species of the terrain we see in a number of other coastal golf courses. I believe that familiarity and success on this area is part of the handicap, but mostly I have taken into account the green work and did not pay much attention to the placement.
I watched the strokes obtained: outside of tee, driving distance, SG: access, birds or better won, rubbing, SG: tee near green and holes from 175 to 200+ yards, as well as over half of This week’s access to the window will come from that window.
As for interconnected courses, a site we have seen twice in the last four weeks, Torrey Pines is a good indicator. I also looked at the country’s country club, where they hold championship Sanderson Farms. I watched three coastal models displaying the bar Pasalum: Corales (Puntacana Championship), Grand Reserve Golf Club (Porto Rico Open) and El Camaleon (Mayakoba).

We had a great week in Genesis with four of our five choices that had money in the Top-20 market, and we were close to getting Maverick Mcnealy at home with a victory. Seven choices this week to win and I’ve played each to finish 20 ball too.
Sam Stevens (26-1)
My hesitation here is that I’m sure Stevens will be a popular choice this week. I don’t like being too compatible with most typically, but he is definitely one of the hottest players in this field which also comes out of the last conclusions in Torrey Pines of Runner-up and 31 and got 13th two years ago. Stevens has also ended the third in Corales and has two Top-20 conclusions in Porto Rico. Back in November, he also ended the sixth in Los Cabos in El Cardonal in Diamonds. During the last 24 rounds, Stevens ranked 13th in this field for SG: Tee to Green. He is the fourth in SG: off the tee and eight in scrambling during the last 36 rounds. Sitting to 25-1 or better is a great price. I don’t care as low as 22-1.
Kevin Yu (35-1)
It was the past October, in this column, we went down to Yu at the Sanderson Farms championship. With the way he was going and being one of our interconnected courses, I was happy to play the game again this week. It comes to two right-to-20 conclusions, the last in Torrey Pines last week, where he also received the sixth in 2024. Yu also has a seventh place in Puerto Rico with his credit. During the last 36 rounds he is the 21st in this field for SG: off the tee, 15 in birds or better acquired and 38th at the distance of the car.
Alex Smalley (42-1)
After the sixth ended here in the debut four years ago, Smalley lost the shortening in Mexico Open’s last two editions – and maybe that is giving us a better price for him this week. He lost the cut in the Farmers Insurance Open four weeks ago, but otherwise there are strong conclusions in Torrey Pines-Si and Mayakoba and there are many Top-10 conclusions in Jackson and Corales. In addition to missing the cut this season, Smalley has completed 16-11-21. It is great in the main categories of statistics this week and in the last 24 rounds Smalley is the sixth in this field for SG: Tee to Green.
CT PAN (60-1)
Pan took third place in Vidanta Vallarta last year and has really excelled in all the interconnected courses for his career. He was the 16th and the 11th in Mayakoba, a racing at Torrey Pines and ended up in 12th, 11th and ninth at the Sanderson farm championship. It is strong in statistics this week while ranking 37th in this field for SG: Access, 22 for birds or better acquired, 15 in clashes and 24th near holes from 200+ yards During the last 36 rounds. During the last 24 rounds, Pan ranks 18th for SG: Tee to Green.
Lanto Griffin (80-1)
As we go down on board, I encourage you to buy around after seeing a lot of variance in the chances of these players with longer shoots. In Las Vegas, 80-1 was the best I could find in Griffin-and I’m fine with that price-but I’ve seen up to 110-1 somewhere else. Griffin was a player who caught my eye immediately because he was good at Torrey Pines during the course of his somewhat shocked career, with conclusions up to the 12th, seventh and ninth only four weeks ago. On Sanderson farms, Griffin has completed 28 and 11 and lost the cut on two more visits. In addition, Griffin has never lost a single cut in any of our interconnected courses. During the last 36 rounds, it ranks 42nd in this field for SG: off the tee, 36 per SG: Access and proximity of the 40th in the hole of 200+ yards.
Hayden Springer (120-1)
Springer is a bomber who is ranked ninth in this field for the last 36 rounds for SG: outside Tee and 22 at the distance of the car. It is also 33rd for SG: Access and 12th near the holes from 175-200 yards. Last season alone, Springer was eighth on the Sanderson farms and the third in the Grand Reserve in Puerto Rico Open. He ended up in the sixth in Torrey Pines four weeks ago.
Joel Dahmen (125-1)
Another example of several price variants is Dahmen, which I have seen up to 120-1 and as high as 165-1. He is not a bomber. He does not fit this profile, but he still gets it there many ways and is deadly accurate from Tee. Dahmen has two endings of Top-10 and a Top-20 in Mayakoba, two Top-10 ends in Torrey Pines, ended up twice in 13th place on Sanderson farms and ended up in 12th place, of 13th and won the Puntacana Championship. This will be his debut at Vidanta Vallarta but he ended up in 14th place in Los Cabos in diamonds just three months ago. It is the third upper in this field in statistics this week during the last 36 rounds and ranks 28th for birds or better acquired. Dahmen ranks seventh in this field for SG: Tee To Green during the last 24 rounds.
