As someone who spends most of the year on the golf course, I’m constantly evaluating equipment in hopes of finding a product that can make golf a little easier, more comfortable, or even more enjoyable.
After a season spent testing countless pieces of golf equipment, there are always a few products that rise above the rest – the ones I find myself reaching for round after round.
Below are some of my current offerings from the 2025 golf season: a mix of performance tools, recovery essentials, and comfort upgrades that help me play (and feel) better. Whether it’s a casual round or a competitive match, these are the pieces that I trust will have my back.

A clean club face means better spin – especially around the greens – and this little gadget makes that easy. The compact, magnetic design clips securely to your bag for easy access, and the stiff bristles quickly remove dirt and debris from your club face. It’s a simple tool that will level up your game and keep your clubs looking good too.
3. Read socks
Comfort Dung Hidden No Show
Balega Hidden Comfort Socks are designed to meet the needs of active individuals looking for all-day comfort. They feature plush, lightweight padding and include Drynamixâ„¢ fibers to effectively wick away moisture, keeping feet dry and comfortable even during sweaty activities. The socks are designed with full-length cushioning to protect the toes, heels and soles during high-impact movements, reducing fatigue and increasing performance.
If you’ve ever done 18 holes and had to change your socks in between due to blisters or sweat, Balega socks are worth every penny. I first discovered them while preparing for my annual hiking trip when I needed a sock that could handle 16 mile days. Now, these soft, moisture-wicking, and almost suspiciously comfortable socks are the unsung heroes of my golf wardrobe—and the reason I finish every round blister-free.
4. Short game wins stainless steel placement mirror signature
The short game gains the signature stainless steel setting mirror
Your golf practice just got a lot more effective! The Signature Stainless Steel putting mirror is made of high strength stainless steel and gives you perfect clarity (no weird distortion!) when looking down at the ball. It has an included ruler for measuring posture and setup, and the ruler doubles as a shoulder alignment mirror when you turn it. Find it! It is two-sided. plus comes with adhesive silicone protective strips to keep the ball from scratching without affecting ball spin. With slots at key points to create your own bar gates, you can work on setup, path, eyeline, starting line and more in a single station. Indoor practice? No problem. Use the included marbles for off-season starting line work.

No coaching aid has helped me out like this insight from Short Game Gains. I love the instant feedback it gives me on keys like: eye position, reach, ball distance, stance, ball position, contact and even the starting line. It saves me guessing where my mistakes are coming from, and unlike plastic mirrors, its stainless steel construction never warps, so feedback stays true.
5. Hoka ORA Recovery Slide 3
Slide 3 of ORA Recovery
Built from the designs of the beloved ORA Slide, we’ve added four airflow channels for superior breathability. A comfort-driven style designed for downtime; this sustainable spinoff walks easier with a bed of earth-friendly sugarcane. Based on the same dual-density geometry and injection-molded outsole as the original Icon, the ORA Slide 3 offers on-foot comfort in a future-friendly silhouette.
These may not be a “golf” product, but they are the first thing I reach for after every round. They are quiet, supportive and forgiving – a complete game changer after 18 years of hiking. Hoka also has other variations of the Ora if you prefer a more futuristic silhouette, a classic sneaker design or even flip-flops.
6. Firefly Starter Pack
Firefly Starter Packs
Firefly’s OnPulseâ„¢ technology delivers electrical impulses to stimulate the peroneal nerve in your foot, causing muscle contractions that promote blood flow.
The last item on my list is one I’ve been eager to try: the Firefly Recovery Starter Pack. I’ve seen these popping up all over social media, used by both elite athletes and everyday people looking for a little relief after a long run or a day of marathon travel. The system works by providing gentle pulsating stimulation to increase blood flow and speed recovery, helping you feel ready to move again sooner. I can already see them being perfect after an 18-hole round – or on flights en route to a new golf destination.
