Turning on all the pastries inside the Oakmont Bakery, without. – I wanted to write two directions of history.
Of course, there was no doubt at least one dozen, the number chosen in honor of where I am now placed – Oakmont Bakerywhere the boxes on the boxes filled with 12 of the donuts once tied behind the store’s glass counters are flying from the knot almost as fast as they can do. It’s a day after a strange We open The last day, and I’m still trying to understand all-because even the winner had more than a few stories, and even two four-word mantles.
within Reconciliation of JJ SPAUN’s dayEventually I focused things about his opinion leaving golf to be golf, That he would say that golf should no longer be comprehensive, and by buying in it, he would essentially bring out. But I would also like some tips of spaun coach, Adam Schriber, told Pro at the beginning of Sunday afternoon as he came out Oakmont’s verse, so we will be at the top THIS History with that.
Schriber also told his husband to deflate, however, we will say, with a little more creative English.
“Let the f*cker go,” he said.
Then on Sunday, I asked Schriber what he would say.
“Just believe it. You know what I mean?” He said.
“The last thing I said when he came out was not a pity, right? No. We won’t ask what-if.”
Amen.
As we look back in the US open week, let’s do that observation no. 1 Then. We will strive for 49 others, and feed from caffeine and sugar Oakmont Bakery to take us home.
2 Let’s talk spaun even more. Here is another quota I liked, from his press conference after the round, speaking to gather after playing his first six holes in principle five:
JJ Spaun’s career changed to US Open. 1 movement that changes life got there
“I think it’s just perseverance. I’ve always struggled with whatever be to go where I needed to be and go to what I wanted. I’ve done this before. I’ve had a drop at any level. I always have a kind, I came back and said,” You did this before. You’ve been before. You got out of it. “
“There is a kind as a small model, so I hope I don’t make it pattern again.”
3 This was also good from Spaun, in answering a question to see his two daughters, Emerson and Violet, after his victory:
“My daughter always asks me, whenever dad goes to golf, she’s like,” were you a winner today? “Sometimes I like, ‘Yes, I was’. She’s like, ‘Where’s my surprise?’ So today it is like, ‘You are the winner today’.
4. Talking about his daughters, his youngest, Violet, was sick in the morning on Sunday, and at 6am, Dad was in a CVS.
“I was like, okay, my wife was raised at 3am, and she’s like, Vjollca is vomiting everything Thing or thinking a lot, which is a good thing.
5. On Monday, the story made rounds – and CVS on Twitter Congrats, like You can see below.
Great congratulations to @Jjspap In the US Open Win!
From the early CV it runs to the clutch stroke – your paid quarrel in the best way.

6. Where does the spaun shoot at 17 degrees? I didn’t see him on TV – I was walking with him – but I know that if he lost his place sometimes so little, Robert Macintyre is your winner today.
7 Where does Spaun’s Putt do in 18 rankings? How many efforts would it have to do it again? How much effort would a golf player need? Incredible.
8. Where does Spaun’s round ranking start? At the end of Sunday, this looked like a dozen days ago, right?
9. I’m thinking that spaun will win again big. He was about half a short leg by Winning players this yearAnd Oakmont can be the most proven course that the good will play.
10. Spaun really does Kinda look like Jordan Pele, right? You can judge yourself UNDER.
11 I am standing with Justin Thomas To win the open championship in Royal Portrush.
12 Of course, I also said Bryson Dechambeau would win US Open.
13 Let’s talk Macintyre, racing. His video watching Spaun’s winner Putt, shown UNDERIt was great, as was this quotation, Given to James Colgan of Golf:
“He won the golf tour. The right game. I mean, he’s dreamed of him. I’ve dreamed of him. Everyone has dreamed of that moment. That he pours into the winning putt, I mean, nothing I can do. Right game.”
14th Complete unfolding: on a table inside Bakery Oakmont, I actually masta as far away are my hands when I applaud.
15 I keep getting the feeling that Victor Hovland It is on the verge of about a truly five-year-old golf, truly excellent.
16 I continue to think of it NewAlso.
17 AND Sam Burns.
18 Adam Scott’s Get Watergate (Whoa!) It was interesting. It came after Burns, his game partner, had made a chance to get temporary water relief at 15, after Sunday’s rain delay.
“I was thinking of asking too. It was the unbearable border. The water was as close to the surface. Like the shooting I hit at 11, it is strange. I just don’t know. It was like a aquaplane on the ground. He tried to hit a 5-hook, I think, in the 15th, and it’s hard.
19 Sean Zak of Golf was strolling with the group and said from the beginning, Burns asked him a ruling, thinking he was a rules official.
20. I thought no Kevin van VAND VALKBURG I Laying Up Up, in the tweet UNDERIt perfectly summarized my opinion of Scott pretending.
I in my 20s when a guy in this 40th is contrary to a major: lol. Cold story, bro.
In my 40s when this happens: there he is, the boldest man who ever did it, fighting a battle against time, fighting for all of us, a hero, a legend, dare to say it, a living god.

21 Ok, let’s try to describe Oakmont Bakery. I am pressing on the right edge of the store, and in front of me, on the right, there are four metal shelves with cupcakes and cookie to go, and in front of me, on the left, are eight metal shelves with bread to go. There are 16 (!) Glass cases, holding donuts, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, bagels, rolls and bread.
It’s paradise.
22 It has never slowed since I was here. My driver Uber said on the way they have recently expanded both the shop and the parking lot.
23 Tyrrell Hatton reacting to the spaun putt as he interviewed after his round is great. You can see it UNDER.
24. Scottie Scheffler connecting to the stature while he was seeing clearly showing his ability.
Even his child can swing him as you can see UNDER.
25 Rory Mcilroy Not to talk or be short with reporters doesn’t bother me at all.
But it has to irritate you. The relationship of the athlete reporter should not be difficult to understand.
26. The club UNDER It was magical. I think I reviewed it 50 times.
27 This club throws, shown UNDERIt made me laugh.
28 Did we see the last Phil Mickelson In the open SH.BA?
Let’s express that question in another way:
Do you think he will take on a special exception of USA after his many thoughts on the steering body and his movement in Liv Golf?
29. I am still surprised that he did not hit something safe on the 17th Friday. And I’m not shocked. There was no other way for Mickelson to go out.
30. You are a good guy, Wyndham clark. You are a good player. You’re good to talk to. You are good to go crazy from time to time.
But next time, hit your bag.
31. Let’s talk Oakmont. I don’t think I would have broken 150 on Sunday.
32. I like PAR-3s short more than long ones.
33. I am divided into rough. Yes, don’t hit it there. But do you do it where your only thing is a piece-out? Even from bunkers you can advance the ball.
34. Tweet -i UNDER It made me laugh.
35. Closely Pew Church bunkers Look … hard. As I looked at them, I wondered if every first time on the course hit from there, whether their ball ends there or not.
36. The highway that passes between Oakmont is great. The course is as exclusive as it gets. And yet, the buzz of semis in a small part of the holes is continuous.
37. I like the idea for us main open courses and the fact that Oakmont will soon wait again. But I would also like a place to be open every eight or more years for a wild card.
38. On Tuesday evening, we went to a Pirate Pittsburgh game, and it was my first time in PNC Park. Is it the best place to watch a game in diplomas? Excellent sightlines. Excellent food and drink.
But the team not so great. Oh well.
39. Here are some of my favorite readings this week by Golf.com staff in the country. From my personal group, I liked it as My story in the spaun victory It came out.

Sounds like Nirvana.
51. Even one.

Above is evidence that I was there, who was caught by my wife at home, who joked that I destroyed a moment of the Spaun family, so my apologies for that.
