At MygolfSSS, we see and test a funny amount of golf dresses. Easy is easy for things that get lost in Shuffle – Fan, most of them do. We try to curse close to everything, but remember… truly Remember … almost nothing. But each time, a club climbs. Not necessarily a more sought after winner. Probably not even a senior performer. Only one club that, despite the life of burning and burning a gear junkie, lies in the drawer of workbench because You never know.
Although technology has progressed – sometimes with more than a decade – these are what I have kept around (four out of five, however). And deep down, despite knowing better, a handful of me believes that maybe, perhaps, alone, I will put one of them again in the bag one day.
Before we start
This is my List if you were to ask someone else in MygolfSSSS (and maybe we need), their list of the most iconic leaders of the Mygolfspy era would probably look different. Honestly, my short brain in the thought of what my colleague John Barba may include (something absurd, no doubt).
With that off the road, let’s get to her.
Adams 9064 LS

Hard hard to believe that nearly 15 years have passed since we tested Adams 9064 LS and, honestly, is probably the first driver for which I have ever really fallen into Mygolfsky. If I would like to make a chance to be ahead of his time as a low -rotating aerodynamic design, I could absolutely defeat. Whether it’s true or just I’m nostalgic, I don’t really care.
For my money, 9064 LS was Adams’s last excellent brilliant driver.
Set the sad violin music
Cobra King Ltd (the original one)

Surely, the original Cobra King Ltd had some soft elements. The main among them: “Port of removable space”, a genuine gate that allows you to see the interior of the driver. If you have had the special tool (of course you need a special tool), you can remove it and find what I can only describe as the driver’s hieroglyphic – a bunch of small printed technology notes on the inside of the head.
Was any of her needed? Absolutely not. But did he help create a low -rolled driver with solid moles? yes
Also, the fun fact: the King Ltd Pro version remains one of the lowest CG leaders ever created.
Dear mention: matching 3 wood. If you know, you know.
Ping G400 LST

Pound for pounds, ping G400 LST can simply be one of the best executives ever made. Also, the only most sought after winner on my list and, if the memory serves, no driver has ever dominated the right test like this.
As I remember all the clubs on this list with love, this is what was the most difficult to get out of my bag. I mean, have you ever shared with someone who never done anything wrong?
Sometimes, it still feels like that.
TSR3 Title

The newest driver on the list, Tsr3Was it the club that finally convinced me: the title is not just improving in the driver’s category, they are as good as anyone.
A lower middle rotation design (I think I have one type), tSr3 more than keeping its own test. And while the footage usually doesn’t count too much around here, it destroyed the competition in the tester rankings for appearance, sound and feeling.
You do not always take the full package with a driver, but when you do it, it feels like you get the lottery and find a $ 20 bill in your pocket on the same day.
Taylormade sldr c

Wtf is a sldr c?
You can be asking yourself now and, honestly, right questions. If you were not active at Mygolfsky Forum around 2015, you probably lost this cult classic.
For the context: Back during the day, it was not uncommon for the biggest brands to make exclusive retail models for places like Dick’s Sporting Goods, a kind of better than Best Buy has strange television models you can’t find on Samsung’s website.
We are quite sure that Sldr C was one of those exclusive.
Taylormade never really promoted it (there are probably some in Taylormade who have never heard of it) but if you were on mygolfsky forum at the time, you can remember a boy (There is always a) who would not close for Sldr C. For what he felt like a month, he swore up and down that he was the biggest driver Tayormade had ever produced.
Was he right? Who knows (maybe not) but I bet it’s still in his bag.
Regardless, Sldr C is an absolute legend of the MygolfSpy forum.
Make your word
As I said, this is my List what are the five drivers who distinguish you the most over the past 15 years? Discard them into comments because I would like to hear them and I will probably argue with you for it.
office 5 most iconic leaders of the MygolfSpy era (according to me) first appeared in MygolfSSS.
