5 golf habits that should be frankly against the rules

Golf has a thicker regulation than most novels, so it’s not surprising that players are mistaken from time to time. This is understandable. However Certain habits MUST be against the rules. They may not cost anyone a penalty kick, but they are quite annoying that maybe it should be.

Golf is supposed to be right. Is supposed to be respectful. But it’s not if you have any of these habits.

Taking divotas in practical oscillation

If your practice is accidentally shaken grasping a small ground, it happens. But if you are the type of player that receives two or three shakes of full practice that digs pieces of size grass (and then don’t even fill them), you are part of the problem.

The swinging of practice does not need a large part of the Earth to be effective.

While we are on this topic, if you are doing a swinging practice with your driver and taking pieces from the Tee box, you may want to get a lesson.

Omitted bunkers unresolved

Why are we still this discussion?

If you play from a bunker, catch the rake. It takes only seconds to soften the sand.

I once heard a golf player saying he would not catch the trap because it was late in the day and “the crew would handle it in the morning.” There was still a group behind him. Maybe I’m reversing it, but the growth of the bunker looks like something to do despite the time of day.

Not replacing or filling divvots

Some courses require you to fill your divot with a mixture of sand/seed while others want you to replace it completely. Most don’t say, “Don’t worry about it – we’ll just clean your mess later.”

You cannot complain about course conditions if you are part of the reason that right routes are a mess in the first place.

Keeping great play surfaces is hard work. Getting five seconds to fill a divot requires much less effort than registering your bunker shooting in a results tracking app.

Leaving the broken broken thesis

You may think that broken teas are harmless, especially if you are playing with something biodegradable, but golf course supervisors will pray to change. Those small pieces accumulate quickly, especially in par-3, and they make the boxes of tee look very bad.

More harmful than poor aesthetics is that broken teas can damage sensitive mower of windings used in Tee boxes. They get jams or deaf blades, costing the time and money money.

If there is a whole tray, use it. If not, pocket until you see a trash.

Playing music in the direction range

Not everyone appeared in the range to hear your play list.

I don’t like music when practicing and I don’t like when I’m trying to focus. If I go to the range, I’m there to work on my game, clean my head and maybe make a progress. I can cross the Morgan Wallen.

Ear dresses are a perfect adjustment for this. They are affordable and you can listen to the music of your choice during practice. If you also like to bring your music to the course, the same is true. If the fourth can agree on music, it is a non-movement.

Final thoughts – and one more idea

Of course there are other annoying players’ habits, but there is also one who may deserve a mention.

You start to speak, “Well, in the first hole …” and suddenly you are halfway describing your 97 with Play-By-Play details. Meanwhile, your golf partner stuck politely, but you are definitely no longer listening.

The most patient of friends would need to follow along with your 18-hole audiobook, unless you just shoot a 69 or withdrew from the road. Read the room. Goals like to talk about golf but that doesn’t mean we want whole The story of your round.

So let’s raise the ribbon a little. Save the ground, grab the bunker, pocket of pieces, turn the music and store your lid with 18 holes and make more a pronounced coil.
