Your golf flu is the only link you have with your golf club. Hundreds of hands on the market to choose, there is a significant change in performance from one control to another. As Global Golf Pride Greg Cavill says the global head of Golf, “golf stars are no longer just a glove in the club.” I spoke with cavill about signs that suggest you are playing a wrong check and what to do if you are.
Sliding to influence or during transition
If you feel the club distorting in your hands while landing or sliding during the transition, your control is likely to have the right lack, size and/or structure. Sliding influence is not just about ear. It is about matching the syllable material, size and durability with your oscillation.
Tournament players with higher swing speed often prefer stronger checks for better control. If you swing quickly and play a gentle check, it may be working against you. In addition, your hands can be too big for your current control. Sliding influence is a red flag that Your fastening is too small.

The abnormal grip or erosion of the abnormal syllable
Check your gloves. Do you see the ear uneven, especially on the drops your hands would not contact normally during a proper swing? This is a red flag.
According to Cavill, abnormal erosion is often caused by players that compensate for a poor, twisting, overloading or adjusted during configuration and throughout the shake. When a syllable does not fit your hands properly, you are more likely to wear it faster which means replacing it faster than it should.
Bitterness, bladder or handle damage
Once you have inspected your gloves for signs of dress and damage, look at your hands.
If you look at the stains on your handle or, worse, your hands, is a good indicator that your control is forcing the tension or pressure where it does not belong. A properly fitted handle should feel comfortable and require minimal effort to keep throughout the swing.
When looking for a new check, first find what feels comfortable. Once you have done, you can make changes that will affect performance such as size, non-better technology and even choosing the right level of connection in its own control.

You are still playing a “standard” check as default
Most players play standard size gloves simply because they are called “standard”. But that name does not mean They are the right size for your hands.
Cavill himself used to add three layers of tape under a standard control to match tour configurations. Golf pride testing revealed that he was better with medium gloves. Switch made a positive impact on his game.
Many medium players fall into the same trap. Bryson Dechambeau and John Daly recently echo this in the video (shown below), asking players to stop using the gloves that are very small.
You have updated clubs but never considered the check
When I spoke to Cavill, he brought a point I didn’t really think: during most equipment, control is the last thing discussed. But that feels behind. The fastening is your only connection to the club. If you don’t feel well, does the shaft and head matter?
The flu are not of a suitable size. Materials, textures and profiles all affect the way The club feels and performs. Golf Pride’s Plus4 Grip, now one of their best sellers, mimics four extra tape coils in the bottom to reduce syllable pressure and increase control, especially for faster oscillations. This is a benefit of performance!
If you are adjusting to clubs, make sure the control is not a mirror. It deserves as much attention as the rest of the club.

Last thought
With today’s syllable technology, you can find something that fits your hand, matches your swing, and helps you play better. So if you are sliding, catching too tight or stuck to “standard”, it may be time to treat your control as the rest of your dresses: something that should suit you, not the other way around.
