Sometimes, knowing what NO To buy is just as important as you know what to buy. In our golf shoe testing this year, we appreciated nearly 50 different couples. As we found a lot of shoes worth recommending, there are always some that is not worth your money. Here you have a quick look at three shoes that we think is worth your money and the two you may want to spend. Just one head up: these are not necessarily the best or the worst of our tests, but they are the knowledge we have observed during the testing process.
SKechers Go Golf Prestige SL (Without Spik)

Golf’s Skechers shoes did well in our 2025 testing. This Golf Golf Prestige SL is a comfortable spik shoe with a more traditional look. There was a time when golf shoes with a traditional look shouted bladder and pain. This is no longer the case.
Archived flight and ECO flight certified by podiatric The pillow proves that Skechers spent some time developing this. Prestige SL did not acquire any category of attraction or stability, but gained the first five in both categories. This is the third best shoe without spik of 2025.
Who should buy:
Golfists put comfort and comfort on top of their list (sliding shoes).
Who should pass:
Golfists seeking maximum rotation stability, other shoes offer better solutions for high swing speed.

Hyperflex Footjay (Wind)

Hyperflex footjay is a spike -centered spike shoe emphasizing extraordinary stability. If you are standing with spicy shoes because of your swing speed, you will like what it has to offer. It is not the most comfortable shoes with spike, so it was the fifth place in general.
Pulsar LP Cleats add a lot of traction. The shoes also come with a two-year-old waterproof guarantee, making the dress easy regardless of the weather.
Who should buy:
Golfists who prioritize stability and power want a shoe that maximizes energy transfer.
Who should pass:
Golfists who appreciate flexibility and standing comfort over rigid stability.

Adidas Adizero Zg (Without Spik)

Adidas Adizero Zg is a light, spik -free shoe, designed with Lightstrike Pro Cushioning. The pillow works well, but this was not the most comfortable shoes of 2025. Where the adizero blossoms is in traction and stability. The high results in both categories helped to push this into the fourth best shoe without spik this year.
Who should buy:
Golfists who want a light, very comfortable shoe with extraordinary attraction and excellent stability.
Who should pass:
Golfists often play in very wet conditions and prioritize the maximum waterproof performance.

Travismathew Ringer 2 (with Spike)

Travismathew Ringer II positions itself as a premium shoe “at the tournament level” with features like Sweetspot’s pillow system for comfort. In testing, we found Ringer II under -shaped in comfort compared to other shoes. She also fought with withdrawal and ended in the middle of the stability package. For the protection of the elements, Ringer II was strong. With better performance options at comparable prices, Ringer II struggles to justify itself as a main choice.
Who should buy:
Faithful golfists to the travismathew brand that appreciate the style of high -level performance.
Who should pass:
Golfists seeking maximum stability, withdrawal, high -level comfort.
G/before g/18 (Without spik)

G/Fore G/18 advertises itself as technical and innovative. The wide interior of the base and foam wrapped should increase comfort, but this is not what we found in the testing. It was one of the least comfortable tasting shoes. Attraction and stability were better than comfort, but they still could not compete with high -level shoes. It is also worth noting that the G/Fore G/18 is a narrow shoe that can create problems for players with wider legs.
Who should buy:
Golfists who prioritize unique aesthetics and high beds.
Who should pass:
Golfists seeking excellent comfort, especially players with broader legs.
