2026 World Indoor Champs Previews 5: Chase Jackson needs World Indoor gold to complete collection.

Chase Jackson is focused on the top prize – a gold medal – in the women’s shooting final at the World Indoor Champs in Torun, Poland this Friday. At the World Indoors, Chase has silver in 2022 and bronze in 2024 and 2025.

Chase Jackson just doesn’t have World Indoor gold. And he would like one…

After Chase Jackson won his US title at the Ocean Breeze Athletics Complex on March 1 with a new American record, Chase spoke to the media. Chase had set a huge AR record of 20.44 meters and he looked so happy and animated. His interview with the media was just so much fun. That AR was massive as his previous AR was 20.24 meters.

As the media surrounded Chase in the medley at the US Indoor Championships, Chase told the media that he wanted the gold in Torun. Chase said with a smile. “I’m so sick of the indoor stuff and the only way I’m going to stop is if I finally get a gold medal.”

Chase Jackson was joking, but he was also serious. Chase Jackson is a throwing warrior. She is one of the most famous athletes in the world. Just watch the fans flock to him during matches in Europe and North America. Chase also feeds off the enthusiasm of archery fans.

The ring is very fast at Ocean Breeze. Shooters love speed, but they need to control it. Abria Smith set her PB and Chase was psyched. Chase told the media that he was motivated and threw 20.44 meters, a new American record and the second best throw in the world in as many days.

Jessica Schindler, NED, European champion and world silver medalist, throws 20.69 meters at the Uber Arena on March 6, 2026 in Berlin, Germany. Jessica’s previous world record was 20.49m at the Apeldoorn Ominisport Arena in February 2026. Jessica Schindler, Chase Jackson and Sarah Mitton could be the top three. Women’s soccer in Torun, Poland can be epic.

Women’s soccer should be fun to watch. Please don’t miss the throw!

Simple, easy goals…

Chase Jackson told the media. “I just want to win World Indoors and World Outdoors. Simple, easy goals.” I remember smiling. Chase Jackson is comfortable in the media zone; he likes to talk about his event. It is also nice if the media representative knows something about the event.

I tip the 2023 Budapest World Champion, 2022 Eugene and 2025 Tokyo silver medalist to throw some big ones as Jessica Schindler and Sarah Mitton are ready to throw big time.
