Im Sungjae (-11) leads the field by two strokes heading into the final round. The in-form South Korean 27-year-old has been hampered by military training and a wrist injury, and a win in Florida would mark his first since 2021 – almost four-and-a-half years ago.
Right behind Im, two PGA Tour veterans take second place: Brandt Snedeker, the 45-year-old captain of the US President’s Cup, has nine wins on his resume, but the most recent was eight years ago, in 2018.

And 37-year-old David Lipsky, who has three international wins to his credit, has made it 144 tournaments without a win on the PGA Tour – until now.
A little further up the leaderboard, three shots behind Im, you have Marco Penge and Matt Fitzpatrick. Penge, too, is looking for his first PGA Tour win, while Fitzpatrick, a US Open champion, is looking for his third PGA Tour win.
In addition to the prestige of a PGA Tour title, these players are also fighting for a large prize pool.
The Valspar Championship’s $9.1 million total purse awards $1.638 million to the champion and $991,900 to the runner-up, with the top 22 players earning a six-figure payout.
