Separate training time for round 1
At this week’s Texas Children’s Houston Open, there’s a lot on the line for him Rickie Fowler. Six times PGA Tour the winner is currently looking abroad when it comes to Masters 2026. But there are two ways Fowler can earn a last-minute invitation to Augusta National this week.
To earn a Masters time in two weeks, Fowler could finish well enough at the Houston Open to move into the top 50 at Official World Golf Ranking. Currently, he sits at 61st in the OWGR.
The other way he can get to the Masters? Winning this week. The champion of the Houston Open will earn a Masters invitation.
Fowler is set to tee off for the opening round on Thursday at 8:42 a.m. ET with Shane Lowry AND Wyndham Clarke.
