Separate training time for round 1
The last time Scottie Scheffler played the Gensis Invitational at Riviera, he only had one major win to his name. Much has changed since then, for Scheffler and the tournament.
A year later Los Angeles fires force organizers to move 2025 event to Torrey Pinesthe event returns to her longtime home in LA, with her host Tiger Woods in tow.
Scheffler finished T10 at Genesis 2024 at Riviera and has since captured three more major wins and a boatload PGA Tour wins, cementing his place at the top of the Official World Golf Ranking.
He has yet to finish outside the top-4 this season and at the Riviera, the world No. 1 will be vying for his second win of 2026, along with the $4 million winner’s prize thanks to its status as a signature event.
Scheffler heads to the opening round of Genesis on Thursday at 2:37 PM ET along Xander Schauffele AND Like Woo Kim.
