Separate training time for the 4th round
PGA Tour Player of the Year Scottie Scheffler is the prohibitive favorite to take the American Express title. But heading into Sunday’s final round at PGA West, the world No. 1 is not on top.
Starting Round 3 tied atop the leaderboard, Scheffler shot a four-under 68 on the Pete Dye Stadium Course to reach 21 under through 54 holes. invents took the lead with a six-under 66. Kim will take advantage in the 4th round, one stroke away from Scheffler and 18 year old Blades Brown.
If Scheffler comes from behind to win, it will be his 20th career PGA Tour the victory. Kim will be gunning for his fifth Tour victory, while Brown will try to become one of the youngest Tour winners in history.
Scheffler, Brown and Kim will play each other in the final bracket on Sunday at 1:35 PM ET.
