American Express 2026 continues on Saturday, January 24, with the third round in La Quinta, California. You can find the full American Express group times for Saturday’s third round at the bottom of this post.
Separate training time for the 3rd round
If anyone in the American Express field wants to make a run and win this weekend, they will have to beat the world No.1 Scottie Scheffler to do this.
Starting the second round one out of the lead, Scheffler shared another handful of birdies on Friday to take near the top of the leaderboard at halfway through.
Because the American Express is played on three different courses, there is no 36-hole cut. Instead, each player can play all three courses once. After Saturday’s third round is completed, a 54-hole cut will be made to reduce the field for Sunday’s final round.
Scheffler will play Pete Dye Stadium Course at PGA West for Round 3, starting at 1:31 PM ET on Saturday Justin Rose.
