Saturday at Waialae lived up to “Move Day” as several players made big jumps on the leaderboard and in contention at the Sony Open, the PGA Tour’s first field event of 2025. But none were bigger than Stephan Jaeger’s 62 put him 40 up on the leaderboard and one shot out of the 54-hole lead held by JJ Spaun at 13 under.

Jaeger picked up his first PGA Tour win last year in Houston in a memorable duel with Scottie Scheffler, and he’ll be looking for his second alongside Spaun, whose only PGA Tour win also came in Texas in 2022 Valero Texas Open.
They will play in Sunday’s final bracket at Waialae on Saturday along with Eric Cole (-12) at 3pm ET.
