How to view Classic Rocket on Thursday
Two years ago, Detroit was the peak of Rickie FowlerReturning to shape after a four -year drought without a win. With a bird in the first Play off hole after it was the Wayward Tee Shot, Fowler arrived at the winner’s circle once again in Rocket, just two weeks after a narrow cordial call to the US Open and could not have come to a more appropriate stop.
Fowler has a long partnership with Rocket-once known as the Quicken loans-and has never lost this tournament since its inception.
“Seeing that the partnership continues to grow and some kind of hearing about this dream from them and wanting a tour of eventually ending in Detroit, it seemed to me that I wouldn’t say a big question, but it’s a big action. But this is where Rocket based on Detroit,” Fowler said on Wednesday. “To see this event grow, see the support of the fan and city we have – this has grown over them, and then what Rocket, Rocket Family has been able to do the type of help to rebuild Detroit, as I say, it has simply been excellent to be part and fun to get back this week.”
Fowler will seek to find that form once again this week in Detroit as he enters the week after recording his first three places of the season in his last five events, including a T7 in the memorial that introduced him to Open championship.
