Justin Thomas He says he no longer listens to the question, though he has not answered exactly. Prior to June 2022, he would often win. In May of that year, he won the PGA Championship for his second second. Before that, he would win 14 more times. But then? Nothing. And people have wondered why, though it seems that some have continued.
“I’m sick of the question,” Thomas said Friday. “I almost feel like I’m a kind of past at the point where luckily you have all stopped asking me, which is beautiful, but I would also prefer to overcome it.
“I think it’s just this is something I feel like I did this, so good there for a few years is that I just allow tournaments to come to me and I just believe in my ability. That’s just my key this week is that I’m just trying to really believe my game and commit to what I’m doing.
“I have a lot of confidence and confidence in what I can do. So I just have to let it happen.”
On Sunday, he will have a chance. After shooting a 69 during the third round of Saturday, he enters the last round of RBC Heritage, a blow behind the leader inventsAnd he will play in the penultimate pairing that goes to 1:45 in the afternoon.
“I played well,” Thomas said for Saturday, “but it was very easy, with some chips here, some strokes there, very easily could have been a couple.
