The 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational may not be an official tournament event, but the millions of dollars in the Grant Thornton Invitational purse are very real. Stars on the field from PGA Tour AND LPGA Tour they are playing for big money on sunday.
The total purse for this week’s mixed team event is $4 million. This money, of course, is not distributed equally among the 16 teams playing in the tournament.
The winning team will walk away with a share of the $1 million prize pool split equally between them. But every team will be paid something for their trouble, regardless of their results. For example, the last place winners will win $120,000 to split.
In the final round on Sunday at Tiburon Golf Club, Nelly Korda and Denny McCarthy are trying to make a big comeback to capture the title. Meanwhile, the leaders 54 holes Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak are trying to hang on for the win.
