Scottie Scheffler Not confused at CJ Cup Byron Nelson. World no. 1 was the favorite of the betting that went to the event. He is also on a mission to win his first PGA Tour Title of 2025.
And on Thursday at the TPC Craig Ranch, Scheffler’s game on the course sent a message to the rest of the field that this is his tour to win. Scheffler fired a 10-nine 61 in round 1 to get an early two-stroke lead to Rico Hoey and Johnntan Vegas.
On Friday, Scheffler will leave in the morning wave at 8:23 AM while continuing the search for his first victory of the season.
