2024 Fall Cross Country Training & Racing Program December 14, 2024 Week 13 Day 6 FINAL Race of the Year Footlocker Presented by HOKA.


The 2024 Cross Country season is almost over.

You are now in the thick of the season. All are fit; the difference is racing fitness.

Let me explain.

Those who can make one right move after another and have something at the end of the race, those athletes will be successful.

The California state meet is over, at the end of the season Four of the four FootLocker regionals are over.

Tomorrow we have the 45th FootLocker XC as well as the USATF Club Championships.

Cross Country is the real key to developing as a distance runner.

Most high schoolers competing in the NXN FootLocker also have one more week.

The Midwest, Southeast, and East regions were held for FootLocker on November 30, 2024.

NXN Regions are all over. NXN Nationals on December 7th, European Champions on December 8th.

West FootLocker Districts held on December 7, 2024 and FL Nationals on December 14, 2024. 80 athletes will compete.

stay focused, 5k FootLocker XC or 5k-10k road race,

cool well

Check your shoes and make sure your training shoes

ready for the final weeks of training (most shoes make up 8-12 weeks of training)

If not, go to a local running store and find a pair or two of good training shoes.
