It’s been an exciting few days at this year’s 2024 BMW PGA Championship, with some great players seeing their names near the top of the leaderboard – including none other than Rory McIlroywho is just a few strokes back of the lead as the final round is played.
Hosted by the prestigious Wentworth Club for the 40th consecutive year, who will take home the top prize from the DP Tour event? Only time will tell.
As of press time, a strong Aaron Rai is in first place at 18, with the English 29-year-old overtaking. Italian Matteo Manassero on Sunday to lead from a stroke…for now.

It’s been quite the season for Rain, who has six T10 finishes and a win (Wyndham Championship)so capturing the 2024 BMW PGA Championship would be another stellar win if he is able to hold on.
But there are still a lot of holes until the result is decided, so it will be fun to watch these guys go down.
While we will all have to wait and see who will be crowned champion, one thing we I DO known to be the payout from this year’s BMW PGA Championship, with the field vying for a very sweet payday: $1.53 million from a $9 million purse (which is the same amount as last year and equal to that of the other two Rolex Series events, the Dubai Desert Classic and the Genesis Scottish Open).
