The second round of 2024 Black Desert Championship begins Friday, October 11, at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah. You can find the full Black Desert set times for Friday’s second round at the bottom of this post.
Round 2 preview
This week’s PGA Tour event is taking place in an entirely new location. The Black Desert Resort course is located in the Utah desert and scattered with dangerous lava rocks and high altitude.

In other words, this isn’t the typical place the pros (or fans) are used to seeing week in and week out on tour. As a result, professionals in this field must adapt their strategies to account for unique course conditions.
But golf’s best didn’t seem put off by the setup in Thursday’s opening round, where birdies abounded. The battle for FedEx points continues Friday with the second round in Utah.
